We brought down the fall decorations the same day Pumpkin Spice Lattes made their debute at Starbucks and the Halloween craft ideas have been pouring out of us. This is the first year we have gone all out with the crafting— it’s been a little messy, but a lot of fun.
The kids have grown from toddlers to preschoolers and I don’t have to constantly be telling them to take the glue stick out of their mouths or to stop breaking the crayons. Now, we can turn on some music, sit around the craft table and work together to make something really cool. One of our favorite crafts so far is the milk jug lanterns that instantly dress up a front porch with some eco-friendly love.
Before we throw anything away, we think “Can we reuse this somehow?” Sometimes it’s an obvious no, but other times we get inspiration from our trash and add it to the art recycle box.
