Ryan and I are always drawn to simple wooden things for our children— where Jackson and Clare can focus on their creative possibilities, rather than the actualities. CooCoo the Clown is one of those toys. They learn hands-on the concept of gravity and balance. This game can be played solo or with a handful of friends. Jackson and Clare enjoy when CooCoo falls over and the pieces fly everywhere. For a few days, we thought it was impossible to “beat the clown,” but eventually my genius husband figured it out.
