The My Roots Collection has a special place in my heart because it’s about raising global children. With my daughter who is definitely a melting pot of ethnicities and diversity, I find the world map to be the perfect way to display our mixed-race heritage with pride. Environmental education is at the heart of each design, and I love that each piece uses repurposed paper materials, soy inks, and biodegradable packaging. Yay!

This is our world map pictured above. My daughter loved that there were heart stickers to place on the world map. Geography and family genealogy lesson in one! I was so excited to frame this print in a barn door textured picture frame. Here is where our own family roots lie:

My child’s roots are in Pennsylvania and South Korea!
Our roots are in Illinois, Missouri, and the UK. My oldest was born in Illinois, and my 2nd and 3rd daughters are both born in the UK, so this map is perfect for our family.
On my side, my mother’s family goes back to England, when Micah Merriman came over and fought against England in the Revolutionary War ! My ex-husband’s family is from Ireland via England. I love geneaology !
