GIVEAWAY #5: Book by TOMS Shoes Founder

toms start something that matters book review

THINGS WE LOVE: GIVEAWAY #5

Add this inspiring book, Start Something That Matters, to your personal library collection. The time is now to start pursuing your passions and making a difference in the world. As a parent we tend to lose ourselves in the mix of all things parenting. A lot of soul searching and rediscovery starts to happen. This book resonated with both my husband and I in a very special way. After reading it, the stories motivated us to really focus our hearts and time towards things that really matter to us.

WHY WE LOVE IT

Start Something That Matters is the story behind the one for one TOMS movement started by Blake Mycoskie. The TOMS philosophy is 1:1– with every pair of shoes sold, he gives a free pair to a child in need. We are personally a TOMS shoe wearing family. Blake now passes the movement on to you in this book by providing you with resources to find your authentic story and face your fears like a ninja warrior!

With every Start Something That Matters book you purchase, a new children’s book will be provided to a child in need. What I love about TOMS is he makes giving so cool. You get to rock out in comfy stylish shoes, wear some nice sunglasses, get inspired to pursue your passion all while giving to others who need shoes, need access to books and need eyesight and vision care. Enter our giveaway below for your chance to win this book from TOMS chief shoe giver, Blake Mycoskie.

Hi there would you mind stating which blog platform you’re
working with? I’m going to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a tough time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most
blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S My
apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
