30 summer bucket list ideas for summer fun!

summer bucket list ideas

Summer is here! I am inspired by The Happy Family Movement to create and display our summer bucket list in our home. This way our summer fun ideas are staring us right in the face all summer long. My list was a lot longer, but I decided to trim it down to make sure we have to time to slow down, be still and just unplug from being busy.

I used a dry erase marker and wrote on our stand alone repurposed mirror in our living room. My daughter loves looking at it and adding her own ideas: Disneyland, Beach, Zoo, Surprise Party, Camping.

Mine is just a list of things already planned for the summer. {mom-only trip, camping, family reunion, first writing job, celebrate 5-year anniversary, continue monthly resolutions} I think I need to make a list of those things we’ll neglect to do if not reminded (fly a kite, stargaze, visit a new playground). Road tripping to a new nearby town also sounds fun!

Trina, a summer mom-only trip sounds awesome! I usually do one around my birthday/mother’s day in May, but it didn’t happen this year. Congrats on your first writing job and anniversary! We are celebrating our seven year on July 3. Keep me posted if you do any of those more simple summer ideas. Stargazing on a warm summer night is just delightful!
