Can Shopping Save the World?

story of change

Family Sponge is full of world changers. Yes, you. It might be the small steps you are taking (like buying organic apples or reusing bags) or the bigger steps (like buying second-hand or ditching paper towels). Whatever stage you are in your world-changer journey, we love it and are excited to be on this journey with you!

The Story of Change

I just watched a short film called The Story of Change and it inspired me to do more as a world-changer.

I can do more.

We can do more. If we could just put down our credit cards and start being more active citizens, we could build a more sustainable, just and fulfilling world. Isn’t that what we all want?!

Watch the video below to see what really makes change happen and how we can be a part of it.

I love when Annie Leonard says:  “…we can change the current so that the right thing becomes the easiest thing to do.” That is my dream, too.

What kind of changemaker are you?

Take this fun quiz over at Story of Stuff to discover ways your personality can help change the world. After the quiz, come back here and leave a comment sharing your Changemaker Personality. I’ll go first.
