My family and I started blending smoothies this summer and it has become a daily ritual for us. I am impressed that my whole family gets their green veggies for breakfast everyday! Do you know if Blendtec is as good as Vitamix? I have been thinking about getting a Vitamix for a long time now, They are expensive! I am curious which one performs better?!
Crissie, they are pretty matched as far as power. I personally know someone who has owned both, and they prefer the Blendtec over the Vitamix. Blendtec is super easy to clean. My aunt owns one, my mom owns one, and Blendtec is the one that Jamba Juice and other smoothie shops use. But I think you will be satisfied with either purchase. Sometimes Costco has a really good coupon deal on Blendtecs. If you decide to go Blendtec, visit their website here. We get a little referral fee for anyone who makes a purchase which is always nice.
I use a VitaMix that we bought from Costco, but I still get curious about other blenders especially seeing infomercials. I visited the Blendtec website and browsed through the recipes. I would like to make the exfoliating mask http://www.blendtec.com/recipes/exfoliating_mask
I choose Blendtec over Vitamix and I’m happy with the decision. I dont have the space I need for the Vitamix.
