Giveaway! TOMS shoes for your little one

There’s never a better time to help someone else than right now. That is why Family Sponge is giving away a children’s pair of TOMS shoes to one lucky reader. We want you to experience the joy of helping a child this holiday season. TOMS philosophy is 1:1 giving.  Meaning: Family Sponge buys a pair for your child, and TOMS gives away a pair to a child in need.

Every day that your child puts on their cute little TOMS shoes, you can remind them that a child in need is doing the same thing halfway around the world because of TOMS. That’s how we make a difference in the world and teach our kids to as well.

TOMS is just one way to spread some love to the world. There are so many ways your family can be philanthropists— and our wish this holiday season is that you find a way. Start small. Start because you care. Start today.

Tom’s Shoes are great and such an amazing cause.
We just put a package together for Operation Christmas Child, through my son’s preschool: a shoebox with arts & crafts items, a few pieces of clothing, toys and school supplies for a 10-14 year old boy. It was fun putting it all together and knowing that this will brighten someone’s Holidays a bit.

I love Tom’s! Such a wonderful company. A cause that is always close to my heart is Livestrong. They work to improve the quality of life for cancer survivors.

  5. Miriam Boswell November 21, 2011 at 12:35 pm #

The cause we can support this year is to commit to have as much as possible a local and green Christmas. We kept our Christmas tree from last year and now that it is all dried out we’re going to brush off the needles and paint and decorate it with homemade ornaments. My brother reuses Christmas trees like this and it looks amazing. We’re going to do our best to hand make most our gifts and cards as well.

Thank you so much for this giveaway, my daughter would love her first pair of toms! At her school then send home wish lists from children who are in local hospitals who may not have much time left and each kid that participates buys one thing from the Childs wish list and then the school takes it to the sick children. It so much fun watching my daughter pick out some great gifts and also helping a child who might not have much longer. We also help with items to send overseas to our soliders.

My daughter would be a size 10 in toddlers or size 10.5 in girls

    Thank you 🙂

I absolutely love this giveaway, not just because youre giving a way a pair of shoes to a child, but are actually giving TWO. Toms is a great organization.
I try to help out different organizations as much as i can during the holiday season, because growing up we almost always had to turn to them. I will always be thankful to the people that helped provide amazing holidays forcme and my siblings. I just want to return the favor to those that have been where ivhave. We make shoe boxes that our shelter hands out, donate any and all outgrown clothes, toys, furnishings to our local consignment shops, and get an angel or two from our local shool. My two yr old loves helping w.the boxes and angel shopping, so hopefully he continues to do so as an adult. <3

we are thankful for those who help and donate items!

For the past 4 years, let me explain, my daughter wanted a pair of Toms shoes when school started and I was not about to pay 35.00 for a 4th grade to wear out on the playground. So for Christmas that year she asked but this time she used the motto “we give out a pair everytime you buy one”. So that christmas, we bought her the first pair of Tom shoes but with the understanding that she was giving one away. Well this has been our tradition for the last 4 years, we buy her a new pair for Christmas but now she is even getting news at the beginning of school. So for the last 2 years we have purchased for school but every Christmas she gets new one. This our tradition for her and my son they get a new pair for Christmas.
